1. The short version
The GoFitDaddy mobile app does not use cookies, does not use tracking technologies, and contains no analytics or advertising software. There is nothing here for you to consent to or switch off, because nothing optional is being stored.
2. What the App stores on your device
A native app has no browser and therefore no cookies. The App does keep a small amount of data in the operating system’s protected app storage, all of it strictly necessary:
- Login session
- The token that keeps you signed in, so you do not have to log in every time. Cleared when you log out.
- Preferences
- Your language, theme and notification choices, so the App behaves as you set it.
- Cached content
- Recently seen profiles and images, so the App is quick and uses less data. Cleared when you log out or delete the App.
Under § 25 (2) TDDDG this storage is exempt from consent, because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. We rely on it, and nothing else.
3. What the App does not do
- No analytics — we do not measure which features you use or how long you stay
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier is read
- No third-party tracking, attribution or marketing software of any kind
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking, so iOS never needs to ask you about it
- No cookie banner, because there are no optional cookies to ask about
4. Our website
gofitdaddy.com is separate from the App. If that site sets any cookies, they are described on the site itself. Using the App does not set cookies in your browser.
5. Clearing what is stored
Logging out clears your session. Deleting the App removes everything it has stored on your device. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers — see the Privacy Policy for what that covers and how long anything must be retained by law.
